Folder Size was named this way because it can tell the real size of each of the folders in Windows Vista and higher. The reason behind the creation of such an app is that in these operating systems, users can’t customize the place where the size of the folder gets displayed. With the help of this tool, you will be able to move the size column in Vista and higher versions of Windows closer to the actual folder.

On the other hand, there is an acknowledged issue that doesn’t permit this app or Windows in general to display the real size of a folder, differences being made between the logical size and the physical size.
